1st Day: Salzburg
Individual arrival and collection of travel documents. Salzburg is waiting for your visit, explore the city! Tip: Enjoy an evening fortress concert at Hohensalzburg Castle.

2nd Day: Salzburg – Lake Wolfgangsee, approx. 50 km
After picking up the rental bikes you cycle via Eugendorf, through the Salzburg Flachgau to Thalgau. It takes you along the impressive Drachwenwand to the Mondsee. On the Scharfling, the view extends to Lake Wolfgang. A brisk descent takes you to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen. Enjoy a ferry ride on Lake Wolfgang after today’s stage.

3rd Day: Lake Wolfgangsee – Lake Traunsee, approx. 40 km
St. Wolfgang invites you to go for a walk before you take the boat to Strobl in the direction of Bad Ischl. The imperial town attracts with culture, cuisine and history, as it was the place of activity of numerous artists and Franz Joseph’s summer residence. Following the leisurely river Traun you reach Traunkirchen.

4th Day: Lake Traunsee – Lake Attersee, approx. 40 km
The Traunsee forces its way like a fjord between Traunstein and Höllengebirge. Off to Gmunden, the famous ceramics town! A visit to the Seeschloss Ort and its lake promenade pays off before you cycle through Aurach Valley to Lake Attersee. A detour to Ohlssdorf is worthwhile for literature enthusiasts. The Thomas-Bernhard house is waiting.

5th Day: Lake Attersee – Lake Mondsee, approx. 35 km
Along the azure blue Attersee you reach Unterach until, after a narrow valley, you can see the beautiful Lake Mondsee. Following the north shore, you cycle to the lake town of the same name and explore prehistoric pile dwellings as a Stone Age fan, or taste the regional specialties as a gourmet.

6th Day: Lake Mondsee – Salzburger Lake District, approx. 45 km
Today you cross the Mondseeland comfortably, past the natural Irrsee until you reach the Salzburg lakes. Be sure to try: the beer specialties from the Trumer brewery.

7th Day: Salzburger Lake District – Salzburg, approx. 45 km
Numerous bathing spots in the lake district invite you to take a dip in the cool water. On the leisurely ride back to Salzburg, one last glimpse of the glorious mountains of the Salzkammergut opens up.

If you rent a bike for your trip, you are liable for damage and theft. When booking our rental bike disclaimer, we will assume liability for you so that you bear no financial responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the rental bike (with proper use and security). There are exceptions to this disclaimer which are loss of keys, batteries and chargers of e-bikes, as well as damage due to intent or gross negligence.
