Individual arrival. The historical centre of Bruges is part of the famous Unesco world heritage site list. Anyone who visits Bruges, will notice it straight away: this city has always taken care of its architectural and cultural treasures. Take your time and stroll along lovely parks, intimate little streets and ancient market squares. You can also do some shopping: the shopkeepers will love to explain everything to you about our Belgian chocolate or beer. Or simply enjoy ‘French’ fries on the stunning market square.

On the way to Ostend, you can discover the nice village of Lissewege, one of the best examples of the cosy villages in the hinterland of the coast. The silence and the indescribable atmosphere will certainly seduce you! After Lissewege, the famous seaside resort Blankenberge follows, where you can visit the ‘Sealife Centre’. Of course, we will also pass De Haan, a village which has preserved the ‚Belle Epoque‘ style (19th century) beautifully. After an unforgettable tour, we arrive in Ostend, also known as the ‘queen amongst the coastal towns’

Today we will discover some other nice places in the coastal region. Not only the landscape, but certainly the 2 castles on this tour will also make this day unforgettable! The first one is d’Aertrycke, which was built in 1869. The other one is Wijnendale castle, which has a history of 8 centuries!

Nieuwpoort is just like Ostend and Blankenberge one of the favourite seaside resorts in Belgium. This small town is situated along the river mouth of the ‘Yser’, a river that played an important strategic role during the First World War. Enjoy the harbour and the nature reserve ‘Ysermonde’. You can also have a break on the wide and lovely beach. The cosiness of the town of Veurne is not easy to describe in words. Veurne is renowned for the procession of the penitents.

This tour will be very interesting! We will pass in Jabbeke, where you can visit the Constant Permekemuseum (paintings and sculptures). In the observatory ‘Beisbroek’, you can learn everthing about the mysteries of the outer space, or you can strengthen your knowledge about nature in the ‘Nature Centre’.

The sixth day, we will explore the area between Bruges and Knokke, the most mundane village of the Belgian coast. It will again be an unforgettable trip, through the polder landscapes and the dunes. The main sight of this tour is the nature reserve ‘Het Zwin’ and the picturesque village Damme. Or, when it is warm enough, you can go swimming in the sea!
