Along the Tauber Cycle Path

The Lech (river) accompanies you on this bicycle tour through an ancient Bavarian landscape, past the most famous baroque church in Bavaria, the Wieskirche. The impressive castles of the Bavarian King Ludwig form the royal end of your bike tour near Füssen. The Romantic Road is one of the world’s famous cycling tours in Germany. – This is part 3!

2 different hotel categories to choose

1st Day: Donauwörth

Individual arrival to Donauwörth with its splendid Reichsstraße.

2nd Day: Donauwörth – Augsburg (approx. 50 km)

Discover the Schaezlerpalais with its extraordinary art collection in the university town of Augsburg.

3rd Day: Augsburg – Landsberg am Lech (approx. 50 km)

Visit the Archaeological Museum in Königsbrunn. In Landsberg am Lech you will notice the colourful rows of houses.

4th Day: Landsberg am Lech – Schongau (approx. 35 km)

You dive into the Pfaffenwinkel and the flat Lechfelder Land slowly merges into the hilly foothills of the Alps.

5th Day: Schongau – Schwangau/Füssen (approx. 50 km)

In Schwangau, it is worth taking a detour via the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The castle in Füssen is one of the best preserved castle complexes in Bavaria.

6th Day: Schwangau/Füssen

Individual departure or extension.
