The fertile plain between the Theiss and the Danube with the legendary draw wells, the varied mix of forests, fields and meadows, as well as the peaceful herds of sheep, horses and pigs, is an attractive destination. Many assume the legendary court of the Hun king Etzel here.

1st Day: Vienna – Bratislava, approx. 67 km

Individual arrival in Vienna-Nussdorf. Boarding starts at 2.30 pm. A cruise past the Danube Floofplains National Park and the Gate of Hainburg to the Slovakian capital will give you first impressions of the upcoming week. Active version: luggage drop-off at the ship at 12 pm; handout rental bike and individual cycle tour via Hainburg to Bratislava

2nd Day: Budapest, approx. 22 km

THe day starts with a guided bus tour in the morning (3 hours). A cycle tour to the traffic-free Margaret Island or through the centre follows. Active version: cycle tour to the artists‘ town of Szentendre (picturesque location; 56 km there & back)

3rd Day: Kalocsa – Baja, approx. 55 km

Today you can optional go on a guided tour (1 hour) to visit Kalocsa Cathedral and baroque bishop‘s palace (with St Stephen‘s crown). The cycling stage past herds of cattle, pigs and horses will lead you to the baroque town of Baja (town hall tower, old town). You´ll see interesting sculptures along the most famous pilgrimage route in Hungary.

4th Day: Belgrade + Save Island, approx. 35 km

Again you can join a guided bus tour with Kalemegdan Fortress (approx. 2.5 hours). In the afternoon on mostly traffic-free cycle paths to the Sava Island through the recreational area of the Serbian capital.

5th Day: Mohacs I Nationalpark Duna-Dràva, approx. 22-46 km

On cycle paths through the national park to Kölked where you can visit a stork museum, further to the battle village and to the Sátorhely Monument and back again to your floating hotel.

6th Day: Esztergom I Stúrovo – Komárno, approx. 56 km

And the last ride by bike, mostly traffic-free, via Moca to the birthplace of Franz Lehár. Optional: guided walk through Komárno (approx. 1 hour).

7th Day: Vienna

Disembarkation till 10.30 am. and individual return journey home.

In the interest of your safety, the 1st captain may change the programme at any time (even at short notice) due to high water, low water or other cases of HIGHER FORCE. Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.

The spacious facilities include the panorama restaurant ‘Primo Gusto’, the panorama bar ‘Primavera’, the Danube arena ‘Prima Vista’ and the on-board theatre ‘Primo Theatro’. Air conditioning throughout the ship (individually adjustable in the cabins). At the reception, a glass floor with lighting allows you to look into the world “under water” and makes your stay on the Primadonna to a first-class experience. On the open-air deck you will find a small whirlpool, sun loungers, sun awnings and comfortable seating areas. The wellness area offers an indoor whirlpool, a Kneipp treading pool and a sauna. Healing and beauty massages by appointment as well as a hairdresser on board complete the offer.

Passenger decks/cabins:
All 82 cabins on the MV Primadonna are outside cabins with individually adjustable air conditioning; Shower and toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, minibar and spacious closets.

Main deck Astern: about 9.5 m² equipped with a bunk bed.
Main deck Standard: approximately 11.5 m² with a fixed bed and a sofa bed. All cabins with a large non-opening porthole (90 cm diameter).
Upper- and Promenade deck: Are approx. 16.5 m² and have 2 beds placed together, a desk and a balcony with a bench. There is also a sofa on the upper deck and 2 armchairs in the cabin on the promenade deck.
