The fertile plain between the Theiss and the Danube with the legendary draw wells, the varied mix of forests, fields and meadows, as well as the peaceful herds of sheep, horses and pigs, is an attractive destination. Many assume the legendary court of the Hun king Etzel here.

1st Day: Passau

Individual arrival in Passau. Transfer from the private parking lot or Passau main train station to the ship approx. 4.30 p.m. During the welcome menu „Cast off“ and at approx. 9.30 pm passage Schlögener Donauschlinge.

2nd Day: Wachau, approx. 54 km

Past Säusenstein to Melk (Abbey) and through the wine-growing villages Spitz, Weißenkirchen to Dürnstein.

3rd Day: Slovak Danube cycle route/ Komarno-Sturovo/Esztergom, approx. 56 km

On the car-free cycle route along/near the Danube to Kelemantia (Roman fort), Moča & Štúrovo/Esztergom (cathedral) an onward by boat through the Danube Bend past Visegrád; passing through Budapest approx. 10 pm.

4th Day: Puszta, approx. 49 km

Today you´ll cycle to the baroque town of Baja (town hall, cathedral) and along the Danube cycle path and the most famous pilgrimage route in Hungary (all car-free) to Kalocsa, the capital of the Puszta. Lunch on board and in the afternoon to the city center (cathedral, paprika museum). Optional: guided tour cathedral + bishop‘s palace.

5th Day: Cycling tour Budapest/Szentendre, approx. 22 km

Who likes, takes optional a city tour (3 hrs. with stop in the castle district). Bike paths lead you to Margaret Island, Parliament and market hall. For the active ones: on the Danube cycle path to the artists‘ village Szentendre and back (+ 52 km).

6th Day: Slovak Danube cycle path/ Samorin-Bratislava, approx. 24 km

Along/near the Danube to the center of Bratislava. Lunch on board and afterwards time for individual sightseeing. Optional:guided city tour with park of Bratislava (2 hrs.). Active version: bike tour to the magnificent building of Empress Maria Theresia Hof Palace (+ 48 km).

7th Day: Austrian Danube cycle path/ Grein-Linz-Uhrfahr, approx. 62 km

Past the castles of Dornach, Clam, Wallsee, Pragstein and Lake Plesching to Linz. Optional: „200 years Anton Bruckner“ concert on the Bruckner organ in Linz.

8th Day: Passau

Disembarkation by 10 am. Bus transfer from the ship to the private parking lot or Passau main train station and indiv. return journey home.

The spacious facilities include the panorama restaurant ‘Primo Gusto’, the panorama bar ‘Primavera’, the Danube arena ‘Prima Vista’ and the on-board theatre ‘Primo Theatro’. Air conditioning throughout the ship (individually adjustable in the cabins). At the reception, a glass floor with lighting allows you to look into the world “under water” and makes your stay on the Primadonna to a first-class experience. On the open-air deck you will find a small whirlpool, sun loungers, sun awnings and comfortable seating areas. The wellness area offers an indoor whirlpool, a Kneipp treading pool and a sauna. Healing and beauty massages by appointment as well as a hairdresser on board complete the offer.

Passenger decks/cabins:
All 82 cabins on the MV Primadonna are outside cabins with individually adjustable air conditioning; Shower and toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, minibar and spacious closets.

Main deck Astern: about 9.5 m² equipped with a bunk bed.
Main deck Standard: approximately 11.5 m² with a fixed bed and a sofa bed. All cabins with a large non-opening porthole (90 cm diameter).
Upper- and Promenade deck: Are approx. 16.5 m² and have 2 beds placed together, a desk and a balcony with a bench. There is also a sofa on the upper deck and 2 armchairs in the cabin on the promenade deck.
