The Danube cycling path does not end up in Vienna! East of Vienna begins the fascinating landscape of the Pannonian Lowlands. The wonderful “Donauauen” National Park is one of the last primeval forests in Europe. Furthermore, the Slovakian capital Bratislava enchants its guests with a lovely restored old city centre and numerous intriguing sights.

Vienna – Bratislava / 2 days
1st Day: Vienna – Bratislava, approx. 42 km + train ride Haslau – Wolfsthal
Depart from the big city life and ride into pure nature. The “Donauauen” National Park can easily be enjoyed in peace and quietness. A passage with a small ferry (not incl.) is an adventure. After a short break on a quick train ride, you get back on the bike path and cycle to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Perched high above the city, a majestic castle greets you from afar. The affectionately restored old part of the city and its innumerable cafés are awaiting your visit. Take advantage and enjoy a stroll through this remarkable city.
2nd Day: Bratislava
Included bus from Bratislava to Vienna. Schedule more often a day, also stops at the airport Schwechat. Duration: approx. 1:20 hours
Vienna – Bratislava / 3 days
1st Day: Vienna – Region Bad Deutsch Altenburg, approx. 46 km
The Danube cycling path leads you on peaceful path through the “Donauauen“ National Park through the former Roman city Petronell-Carnuntum until the health resort town Bad Deutsch Altenburg. The vineyards of Carnuntum offer you countless delights.
2nd Day: Region Bad Deutsch Altenburg – Bratislava, approx. 21 km
After a short ride you reach the border city Hainburg. Through an impressive natural landscape, you ride directly into the city of Bratislava.
3rd Day: Bratislava
Included bus from Bratislava to Vienna. Schedule more often a day, also stops at the airport Schwechat. Duration: approx. 1:20 hour

When booking our rental bike disclaimer, we assume liability so that in case of loss or damage to the rental bike (when properly used and secured) no financial responsibility must be paid. Excluded from this are only lost keys, batteries and chargers of e-bikes, as well as damage due to intent or gross negligence.
