Experience a variety of bike tours in what is probably one of the most beautiful regions of Saxony: the highlights are a ride on the Dresden funicular, from where you can experience your “wonder”, and a visit to the famous porcelain factory in Meissen. Make your cycle tours around Dresden unforgettable and explore the picturesque Saxon Switzerland with its unique rocky landscapes.

1st Day: Individual arrival to Dresden
Do not miss out on the opportunity to get to know the baroque city of Dresden by bicycle! Within a short period of time, you are able to visit the sights of the Old Town or the cozy bars of the Neustadt quarter from your centrally located hotel.
2nd Day: Bicycle tour to Meissen (approx. 30 km)
You are going to Meissen today, passing the beautiful Gohliser windmill on the left side of the river Elbe. Meissen is in-separably linked to the subject of porcelain; a visit to the famous factory therefore is an absolute necessity. Later you are taking the suburban train back to Dresden. Funicular Railway to go on a tour of discovery. In the afternoon sufficient time remains for activities such as going for a stroll, shopping or cycling.
3rd Day: Bicycle tour to Saxon Switzerland (approx. 45 km)
We recommend a train ride with the suburban train to Bad Schandau in the morning. From here you go 45 impressive kilometers resp. 28 impressive miles back to Dresden along the river Elbe. On your way you will see bizarre rock formations, the Koenigstein Fortress, the famous Bastei Bridge and the Pillnitz Castle, which used to be the former summer residence of August the Strong.
4th Day: Dresden
Today everything revolves around Dresden. Leave your bike behind and take the ship, the bus and the Dresden Funicular Railway to go on a tour of discovery. In the afternoon sufficient time remains for activities such as going for a stroll, shopping or cycling.
5th Day: Bicycle tour to Moritzburg Castle (approx. 50 km)
In the morning you will cycle to Radebeul, which became well known because of Karl May, one of Germany’s most widely read authors. A ride on the traditional narrow-gauge railway „Lößnitzdackel” (Lößnitzgrund-bahn) will bring you to Moritzburg, where you can visit the former hunting lodge of the Saxonian King August the Strong. After touring through the pond landscape you return to Radebeul. From there you can either catch the suburban train or cycle your way back to the hotel.
6th Day: At free disposal
Whether Forest Tharandt or the Heath Dresden – the surrounding area still offers numerous variants for day trips. Also in Dresden itself there is certainly still much undiscovered!
7th Day: Departure from Dresden
individual departure or extension.
