The farmers and innkeepers along the Danube Cycle Path look forward to your visit!

1st Day: Passau
Individual arrival in Passau, travel documents in the hotel. Rental bike handover takes place in the bike center.

2nd Day: Passau – Feldkirchen/surroundings , ca. 55 km
By boat to Kasten before you cycle past the impressive Monastery Engelszell, on to the amazing meander “Schlögener Schlinge” (Danube Loop) to Feldkirchen.
Farm-example: Bauernhof Rechberger
3rd Day: Feldkirchen/surroundings – Mitterkirchen, ca. 55 km
Relaxed further to Ottensheim, onward by train to Linz. After a short city tour through the old town, we continue to Machland – Mitterkirchen.
Farm-example: Radlerbauernhof Moser
4th Day: Mitterkirchen – Hengstberg, ca. 35 km
The scenically stunning Strudengau begins after Grein, which impresses with its rugged rocky slopes.

5th Day: Henstberg – Aggstein, ca. 50 km
Through the “Gateway to the Wachau” – Melk, you reach Austria’s most famous wine-growing regions. Don’t miss a wine tasting at one of the numerous local wineries.
Farm-example: Radlerhof Kienesberger
6th Day: Aggstein – Krems, ca. 30 km
You cycle through the vineyards of the Wachau to Dürnstein. It’s not far now until you arrive in Krems.
Farm-example: Wein & Wohnen Rethaller
7th Day: Krems – Vienna, ca. 40 km
You take the train to Tulln before you comfortably enjoy the entrance to Vienna.

8th Day: Vienna
Individual departure or extension. Return to Passau, in Season 1+2 by train (transfer of your own bike not included), in season 3 by bus (transfer of your own bikes included) or on request by train (transfer of your own bikes not included).

You will receive the accommodation we have actually booked with the hotellist and the travel documents (after the booking confirmation at the earliest).

If you rent a bike for your trip, you are liable for damage and theft. When booking our rental bike disclaimer, we will assume liability for you so that you bear no financial responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the rental bike (with proper use and security). There are exceptions to this disclaimer which are loss of keys, batteries and chargers of e-bikes, as well as damage due to intent or gross negligence.

- In Passau, the car can be parked in a parking garage for the duration of the cycle tour.
- Locked and covered parking garage: € 11 per day
- Parking garage with E-connection: € 11 per day plus € 30 charging fee
- Fenced and uncovered parking: € 7 per day
- Parking garage or parking space must be reserved prior your arrival of your cycling tour, payable on the spot
