From Passau to Vienna in 4 biking days

For experienced and courageous cyclists who dare to try the sporty version. The sporting aspect is in the foreground here. Nevertheless, there is also time to do some sightseeing, visits and of course to take enough breaks. The balance of the stages offers ideal conditions for a sporty but relaxed cycling experience.

1st Day: Passau

Individual arrival in Passau, travel documents in the hotel. Rental bike handover takes place in the bike center.

2nd Day: Passau – Feldkirchen/Aschach, approx. 70 km

Today’s stage is very varied in terms of landscape. At the beginning you cycle through the upper Danube valley in the direction of Engelhartszell, fortify yourself with a monastery liqueur in Engelszell Abbey and via the Schlögener Schlinge you reach the enchanting little town of Aschach at the Danube.

3rd Day: Feldkirchen/Aschach – Grein, approx. 85 km

You start through the vastness of the Eferding Basin until you reach the thriving Danube city of Linz. After a short stopover in the 2009 Capital of Culture, you set off for the small shipping and baroque town of Grein.

4th Day: Grein – Krems, approx. 85 km

From the saddle of your bike you can enjoy the impressive landscape of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau as far as the Wachau. Well-known places like Weißenkirchen, Spitz and Dürnstein cross your path.

5th Day: Krems – Vienna, approx. 80 km

Along the Danube, via the Roman town of Tulln and Klosterneuburg to the Danube metropolis and federal capital of Vienna.

6th Day: Vienna

Individual departure or extension. Optional bookable: return transfer by train or by bus to Passau.

When booking our rental bike disclaimer, we will assume liability for you so that you bear no financial responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the rental bike (with proper use and security). There are exceptions to this disclaimer which are loss of keys, batteries and chargers of e-bikes, as well as damage due to intent or gross negligence.
