2nd Day: Freiburg – Malterdingen/Endingen (approx. 35 km)

The cycling stage runs at the foot of the idyllic vineyards of the Kaiserstuhl. The destination is the medieval half-timbered town of Endingen or, alternatively, the traditional wine-growing community of Malterdingen.

3rd Day: Malterdingen/Endingen – Rust/Ringsheim (approx. 45-50 km)

You will reach the banks of the Rhine through the wine village Sasbach. You cycle through the green Rhine meadows, partly on the embankment of the Rhine, in the direction of Rust. This small place became known because of the Europapark (amusement park) with its many attractions.

4th Day: Rust/Ringsheim – Strasbourg (approx. 45-50 km)

Today you will once again cycle through the river meadows of the Rhine. The picturesque backdrop of the northern Black Forest accompanies you on your right. The beautiful Alsace metropolis Strasbourg, with its attractive old city, is the highlight of the day.

5th Day: Strasbourg – Obernai (approx. 60 km)

You can use the morning to visit the sights worth seeing in Strasbourg. The bicycle tour takes you on the Euro cycle path to Molsheim, the hometown of the famous Bugatti car dynasty. Your route along the Alsace Wine Route begins here.

6th Day: Obernai – St. Hippolyte (approx. 40 km)

The journey continues south on the Route du Vin. On the attractive route through the lush vineyards, you will pass pretty Alsace villages with colourful half-timbered houses. Via Dambach-la-Ville you reach St. Hippolyte, which lies at the foot of the famous, majestic Hohkönigsburg castle.

7th Day: St. Hippolyte – Colmar (approx. 30 km)

During this stage, the romantic little towns invite you to take a stroll through the medieval alleys. You will then arrive in Colmar. Discover the lovely timbered houses in the Gerbergasse. Admire the art and history of the region in the Unterlinden Museum.

8th Day: Colmar – Freiburg (approx. 60 km)

You cycle through the Rhine plain via Breisach back to Freiburg.
