Beaches of the Baltic Sea

The wide and spotless sandy coastline of Poland extends up to 500 km – from the island Wolin to Krynica Morska. This bicycle tour leads you from the shipyard and the Odra river in Szczecin to the metropolis of Gdańsk, the so called Pearl of the Baltic Sea.The breathtaking landscapes with its shifting sand dunes of Łeba, the coastal forests and the beautiful countryside of Pomerania will leave an unforgettable impression on you. You maintain cycling towards Gdańsk and get to know this marvelous Hanseatic City from its most beautiful side – the magnificent Long Street and the gorgeous brick building of the Church of Our Lady.

1st Day: Stettin/Szczecin

Individual arrival in Szczecin. At 5:30 pm meeting point in the start hotel and handover of the travel documents. Optional for indiv. tour/incl. for guided tour: At 5:45 pm a city sight-seeing tour in Szczecin with attractions such as: the Oder-River terraces, castle of the Pomeranian Dukes and the energetic Old Town. Dinner in a nice restaurant in Szczecin.

2nd Day: Szczecin – Kamień Pomorski, approx. 45 km

After breakfast a transfer by bus to Świnoujście – first impressions of the Baltic Sea. A day-trip by bike through the beautiful forests of the Wolin National Park toward Międzyzdroje. The first health resort visitors came to this well known place in 1830. After a coffee break or a lunch (fish) on the beach you cycle on good paths through the dense forest and along idyllic lakes through the Wolin National Park.

3rd Day: Kamień Pomorski – Baltic Seacoast – Kolberg/Kołobrzeg, approx. 50 km

After breakfast there is a possibility to visit the gothic cathedral with the baroque organs and gothic paintings (indiv. optional/ guided incl.)and the mysterious monastery garden in Kamień Pomorski. Then a short bus transfer toward the Baltic Sea toward Trzęsacz where you see the ruins of an old church on the cliff.In the afternoon bike tour through the beautiful coastal forests and along wide beaches to Kołobrzeg.

4th Day: Kołobrzeg – Osieki/Słupsk, approx. 50 km

After breakfast you go by bike on the beautiful bike road along the seaside from Kołobrzeg to Ustronie Morskie. On the left side you see the Baltic Sea andon the right side the bird reserve and small lakes. In the afternoon you bike through small villages toward Osieki. On the way there is a possibility tovisit the second highest lighthouse on the Polish seaside in Gąski. In Osieki there is time for an optional coffee and cake break in Osieki. Dinner and accommodation in Osieki/Ustka/Słupsk.

5th Day: Osieki/Ustka – Rowy – Slowinski NP Łeba, approx. 45 km

After breakfast you bike from Ustka to Rowy. Possible break on the beach in Rowy. Further on the way you explore the marvelous landscape of the Slovinski National Park. In the afternoon bicycle tour from Smołdzino to Kluki and a visit in an open-air museum of Slovinzen in Kluki (optional indiv./ guided incl.). Finally a bus transfer to Łeba. Dinner and accommodation in Łeba/Leba.

6th Day: Łeba – Day off at the Baltic Sea and the Slovinski NP

The Polish Sahara is unique in Europe. Today you can spend the whole day at the beach. You can explore once more the Slovinski National Park. There are: Sea eagles, owls and black storks living here. The highest sand dune is the Łącka Góra. You can use your bike the whole day. Dinner and Accommodation in Łeba.

7th Day: Łeba – Hel Peninsula – Boat voyage – Gdańsk, approx. 40 km

After breakfast a bus transfer to the peninsula Hela. On the way you take a break at the picturesque castle of the cashubian family Krockow (14 thcentury), the cultural centre of the European Foundation „Cashubian Centre Krokowa“. Then a bicycle tour from Władysławowo across the peninsula Hela and afterwards a ship voyage to Gdańsk/Gdynia. Check-in in a hotel close to the Old Town. Optional for indiv. tour/incl. for guided tour: In the evening 1h sightseeing of Gdańsk with a guide. Dinner in the Old Town of Gdańsk.

8th Day: Danzig/Gdańsk

After breakfast departure home or individual additional stay in Gdańsk.

For this trip you will be accommodated in selected hotels as follows:

1 overnight in 4* hotel in Szczecin;
1 overnight in a family guesthouses in Cammin, Osieki//Ustka/Słupsk
4 overnights in 3* Hotels in Kołobrzeg (1), Łeba (2) and Gdansk (1)

You will receive the accommodation we have actually booked with the hotellist and the travel documents (after the booking confirmation at the earliest).
